Please join us in congratulating Dr. Eric Frank of Seidner Dentistry and Associates for his recent achievement on becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. All orthodontics are licensed, however only a percentage of all orthodontists are Board Certified.
The American Board of Orthodontics’ mission is to promote and encourage certification and expertise throughout the field of orthodontics. The first step of the certification process is an examination of the applicant’s credentials. Only an orthodontist who has completed an advanced education program in orthodontics approved by CODA (Commission on Dental Accreditation) is eligible to apply for certification. Upon approval of the orthodontist’s advanced education, the individual orthodontist is voluntarily examined by an expert panel as to their orthodontic knowledge and clinical skills.
In addition, the candidate presents their accomplishments in patient care with detailed case reports on their course of treatment for a broad range of patient issues. The candidate must also undergo an oral examination and test on a wide majority of academic and clinical topics.
“This unique honor is a representation of Dr. Eric Frank’s commitment and
skills to treat the patients of Seidner Dentistry. It exemplifies his pledge to deliver the latest advances in orthodontic care to our patients.”
